Hotel Meinhardt

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Meinhardt. We loved the location amidst the apple orchards. The room with its large balcony was beautiful, offering a fantastic view of the valley. The kitchen team always came up with something delicious to eat. We also felt very comfortable with the service. We can absolutely recommend this wonderful hotel. We will definitely be back.

We spent 13 wonderful days here. Very friendly and competent staff and superb cuisine.

The hotel is located slightly above the town of Schenna. It is easily accessible by bus, car, or on foot. Ample parking is available at the hotel. The hotel is modern, very well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The rooms are a good size, very well-kept, and attractively furnished. A minibar and television are also provided. The beds are very comfortable. It is always spotlessly clean, down to the last nook and cranny. The housekeeping service does an excellent and thorough job. Nothing is lacking. The dining area on the ground floor is very spacious, with tables spaced far enough apart to ensure privacy and allow guests to enjoy their dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. They are happy to accommodate special requests without any fuss. High praise for this! The food is delicious and varied. At breakfast, there is a wide selection of breads and rolls. In addition to various cold cuts and cheeses, there are jams, honey, and other sweet toppings. Bircher muesli, various types of quark, and a selection of fresh fruits are available. In the evening, a salad buffet and often an appetizer buffet are offered. One day a week, there's a "kitchen party" where pasta dishes are prepared by the chef right in front of the guests. Highly recommended! Otherwise, a four-course meal is served every evening. There's always something for everyone. The main course options include fish, meat, or vegetarian. Everything is homemade. Even the jams are made on-site. Too much to write, so I'm attaching photos. The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking, relaxing, sunbathing, and more. There's something for everyone. In our opinion, it's absolutely recommendable. We come here once or twice a year and feel comfortable and pampered. Our stay is usually 8-11 days.

Great hotel, surrounded by fruit trees. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. Large garden with plenty of sun loungers. The spa area is a bit small, but perfectly adequate. Large indoor pool and a lovely relaxation room. A holiday just as it should be. We felt completely at ease!

A dream hotel... Not the last time!

Great hotel, located above Schenna. The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk away, providing direct bus connections to Schenna and Verdins, as well as a connection to Merano with one transfer. Located directly on the Waalweg hiking trail, surrounded by apple orchards, it's very idyllic. The hotel service is excellent; we enjoy staying there and can recommend it with reservations.

We love coming back to the Bellavista Hotel Meinhardt every year. We receive a warm welcome upon arrival, and the entire team is incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. It's immediately clear that quality and hospitality are top priorities here. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and high-quality stay!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The location is excellent, just 3 minutes from Merano, with a splendid view that makes our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is welcoming, well-maintained, and very clean. Special praise goes to the staff, always kind and helpful, who truly make you feel at home. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
