Holidays in St. Pankraz

St. Pankraz is the outermost village of Ultental Valley, in the area of Meran and environs.

In St. Pankraz you can see the "Häusl am Stein”, a cottage on a rock, the only building spared by the floods of Falschauer river in 1882 thanks to its particular position. Rest assured, today the stream is no more dangerous, rather it is a very romantic place where to have a picnic with the whole family or a romantic walk.

Another peculiarity of St. Pankraz is the parish church with its Gothic tower of 56 meters. The church clock on the bell tower is richly painted. The church’s portals are carved with figures of saints. Another landmark of St. Pankraz is Eschenlohe Castle.

Who loves hiking or biking has a lot of choice around St. Pankraz in the surroundings of Meran, with many trails and paths of any level of difficulty.
