Reading in the cityDUE TO THE CURRENT EXCEPTIONAL SITUATION CONCERNING CORONAVIRUS, NO EVENTS WILL BE HELD AT THE PRESENT TIME!
Region: Bozen and environs
Reading in the city – open-air reading. This year as well, Bozen is one of the reading cities and setting of exciting lectures and reading days!
“Reading is an individually created world in your mind”: this is the viewpoint of Sebastian Mettler, initiator of the reading promotion project “Reading in the city” by Innovationswerkstatt agency in Salzburg. Initially only in Austria, the event is now touring through the entire German-speaking area and encourages the passion for reading also among the South Tyrolean readers.
For several days, enthusiastic readers will experience exciting lectures, browse more than 3,000 books and exchange reading experiences with liked-minded people. From 5 to 8 October 2017, daily from 9 am until dawn, Montessoriplatz square in the centre of Bozen becomes an outdoor reading oasis with free entry for everyone.
