Long night of museums in Bozen

In Eisacktal, Meran or Bozen and environs we have the harvest tradition of "Törggelen", but in the transit time between summer and winter the entertainment program is not really vast.
Therefore the long night of museums is a welcome cultural alternative. It starts at 4.00 pm and nine museums in and around Bozen participate: the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, the Museum of Nature, the Museion (museum of modern and contemporary art), the Municipal Museum, Runkelstein Castle, the Mercantile Museum, the School Museum, the Semirurali House and the Victory Monument with a documentary exhibition.
The program includes special guided tours for young and older visitors, music, workshops and readings, special exhibitions and more. The entrance to all participating museums is free and the Museum Archaeology and Runkelstein Castle are connected by a shuttle bus.
