World Guinness Record on Kronplatz
On 14th and 15th January 2011, the ski-slope “Lorenzi” in Kronplatz, will host an event truly unique! The occasion is really special to be able to enter the Guinness Book of Records!
24h Kronplatz is called the challenge that aims to 1,000,000 meters of altitude in 24 hours. The route will be addressed by 16 teachers of 3 Ski Schools in the region.
In addition to the record, the event wants also to promote the project called "Health 3.0" which aims to demonstrate, as men in professions completely normal, can be able to tackle very demanding physical evidence, without making risk their health.
The athletes are preparing for months to face the test, during which skiers take turns using the ski lifts and slopes. A team of physiotherapists, masseurs, nutritionists and mental coaches, are working to better prepare the athletes.
We could not miss a specific clothing and ski: Salomon "24h", designed just to be able to skiing for a long time without much effort.
Hopefully we can soon celebrate a new world record right here in South Tyrol!
