Short description

A varied tour with a flowing downhill trail on the Schlanderser Nörderberg.

Description

Some like it hot. This includes all those who prefer to hurtle downhill on their bike rather than pedalling down bend after bend and hairpin bend after hairpin bend. And as we all know, sooner or later the brakes will also get hot - because you can't ride downhill without them.

Starting point of the tour

Haslhof (1,580m), Schlanderser Nörderberg

Destination of the tour

Schlanders

Route description

The Silandro trail tour starts at the popular Haslhof snack station at 1,580 metres on the Silandro Nörderberg. You can get there via numerous forest paths, the easiest way for heavier bikes is via the tarmac road from Göflan. Behind the Haslhof farm, bikers first follow a tractor track to the end of the estate. The route continues on a forest track that leads downhill over several hairpin bends. At the 5th hairpin bend, the time has finally come: this is where a flowing trail begins, which leads quickly and challengingly downhill and finally leads into a Waalweg trail.
After this fun downhill section, bikers can now expect a short stretch of tarmac road, which leads uphill for around 5 minutes. After the first right-hand bend, cyclists take the forest path and another trail leads rapidly downhill to Holzbrugg. Follow the markings here and return to the starting point in Silandro/Schlanders.
