Welcome to the Apartments Tratter in Mölten

Situated at an altitude of 1,130 metres on the idyllic Salten Plateau, the Apartments Tratter offer peace, sunshine and a splendid view of the mountains. Nestled amidst meadows and forests, our property is conveniently located between Bozen and Meran. The family atmosphere, South Tyrolean hospitality and the wonderful nature that surrounds us will make your stay truly rejuvenating.

Well-kept flats & garden

The apartments (20-40 m²) are lovingly furnished and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. All have a kitchen or kitchenette, bedroom, dining area, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a balcony with a view of the surrounding landscape. Our cosy garden is ideal for a barbecue evening and relaxing, while the little ones have an outdoor play area with a swing and sandpit at their disposal.

Nature, hiking & freedom of movement

Directly from the house, there are hiking and biking trails on the Salten Plateau and to the alpine pastures in the area. By car or public transport you can easily reach Bozen, Meran, the Seiser Alm or the Dolomites. In winter, toboggan runs and snow-covered paths await you; in summer, the mild climate and Mediterranean landscape invite you to relax and exercise in the fresh air.

My wife and I stayed with the Tratter family for 15 days in August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Here, above the clouds (1300m altitude), life is peaceful yet centrally located. Beautiful hikes are possible right on the doorstep. Bolzano and Merano are easily reachable by car in about half an hour. Even without a car, public transport is readily available. The cable car (1.5km away) quickly takes you to the town of Vilpiano, from where trains and buses run regularly. Cycling along the Adige River is also a great option. We stayed in the "Mölten" apartment, a very clean 35m² apartment with two balconies, a small kitchen, and a magnificent view. What more could you ask for?

We stayed with the Tratter family over New Year's Eve 2024/25 with our two dogs. From the very first moment, we felt very comfortable in their small but lovely holiday apartment on the ground floor. The apartment is modern and furnished to a high standard and even boasts two terraces and a small garden. Everything looks very well-kept and lovingly decorated. There's even a "mini-supermarket" in the hallway where you can quickly pick up the essentials when the main supermarket in Mölten is closed, as was the case for us, because of New Year's Eve . We found the Tratter family to be very friendly and helpful hosts. For example, we even had a little surprise on our doorstep on New Year's Day (it was delicious, thank you! ) We can only recommend the accommodation and would come back in a heartbeat!

This is the fourth time we've rented one of the Tratter family's beautiful vacation apartments, and we were thrilled once again. The apartment is pleasantly bright and well-equipped; the owners are extremely friendly, accommodating, available at all times, and always helpful. The house is in a quiet location and offers a unique view of the valley. We've already booked again for next summer. Highly recommended!
