Welcome to the Santinhof in Tramin

Surrounded by vineyards, the Santinhof is located around a 10-minute walk from the village centre of Tramin. The family-run fruit and wine farm offers 5 cosy and spacious apartments, which are perfect for a relaxing farm holiday in a family atmosphere on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. The beautiful garden is a green oasis of peace with a heated saltwater pool and sunbathing lawn with deckchairs and parasols.

Comfortable accommodation

All 5 apartments at the Santinhof have a terrace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped living room/kitchen and are non-smoking apartments. The modern comfort of the apartments includes satellite TV with flat screen, WLAN, safe, underfloor heating, integrated ceiling cooling, dishwasher, hairdryer, towels, bed linen and more. Pets are not allowed in the apartments. A bread roll and laundry service is available for a fee. Children will love the large playground on the farm.

Hiking, biking & enjoying

Between orchards and vineyards, bathing lakes and mountains, there is a large selection of hiking and biking tours in the area around Tramin - from family-friendly to challenging. The charming wine village of Tramin in the south of South Tyrol delights visitors with its rustic wine cellars and cheerful festivals, fine restaurants and excellent wines. The Soth Tyrolean capital Bolzano, just 30 minutes away by car, is worth a trip for culture and shopping fans at any time of year. At the Santinhof there is a car park and a lockable storage room for bicycles.

If there's a dream accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired, it's this! The hosts are super friendly and helpful, and the accommodation is very modern and clean. There's a travel cot, high chair, and safety gate for the children. The kitchen is fully equipped, and if you need anything, many things are available free of charge. The hostess provides fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade jams, apple juice from her own farm, and much more. The children's playground is well-maintained, as is the pool area. It's a wonderful place to relax while the little ones play. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the Santinhof in May. The location is stunning with a magnificent view, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The hosts are very welcoming and make you feel immediately welcome. Our accommodation was very well-maintained, modern, and comfortably furnished, leaving nothing to be desired (a baby cot and bed rail were also provided). The regional and homemade products (jam, cake, salt, wine, etc.) also made our holiday perfect. The ground-floor location is highly recommended for families with small children. We would love to come back and highly recommend the Santinhof! The only suggestion for improvement: The cushions on the wonderful, large lounger were unfortunately always wet, so it was difficult to use, or only at the end of the day. Perhaps they could turn down the water system there or remove the cushions.

We had a very nice apartment on the ground floor with two separate bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Everything was brand new, high-quality, and tastefully furnished. A great terrace with a view, both down over the fields of the Etschtal Valley and up into the mountains. The heated pool is a highlight after a hike—or simply for relaxing, reading, and enjoying the outdoors. Andreas and Evelyn Sommariva are super friendly hosts who always have time for excursions and restaurant tips. Fruit and homemade apple juice are readily available at the information point. We used the bread roll service—with a large selection and everything was delicious. I also liked the very comprehensive house guide, which almost replaces a travel guide. From the Santinhof, it's about a 10-minute walk to the center of Tramin. Shops, restaurants, and bars are easily accessible. The large supermarket is just a two-minute walk away, and the nearest restaurant is three minutes away. Thanks to the South Tyrol Guest Card, we were able to leave the car behind. The nearest bus stop is also just 10 minutes away. All in all, we had a very nice holiday and will definitely come back.

The Sommariva family fulfills the highest vacation expectations at the Santinhof! In this small holiday complex (5 vacation apartments), newly opened in 2024, with a stunning, slightly Mediterranean garden (olive trees, herb garden, and fruit garden) and a wonderful, well-maintained pool with an incredible view, you can simply feel at home and spend an unforgettable family vacation. The extremely helpful and friendly host family lives right next door and is available to provide advice and assistance. The vacation apartments are bright and modernly furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. Our apartment (named Johann) had two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a very large terrace. In addition to all sorts of practical amenities (towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, vacuum cleaner, ceiling cooling, and external blinds), you'll also find many small amenities that go beyond the standard (such as a pool bag with pool towels, pool toys, apple juice from the farm, a homemade iced tea syrup, an events calendar, a bookshelf, and a bread delivery service, etc.). We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a wonderful week with you!

A wonderful vacation came to an end a few days ago. Despite the changeable weather, the apartment and the lovely hosts contributed to a truly wonderful vacation. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard. You can truly feel the attention to detail. The pool, playground, and outdoor areas are stunningly beautiful. We stayed in the Katherina apartment with a fabulous view. Thank you for the wonderful vacation, and we want to come back!
