Hotel Tonzhaus**** is situated in the idyllic mountain village Unser Frau in Schnalstal Valley. The name Tonzhaus dates back to the former village inn, until the year 1523. With the latest renovation, we have decided to resume the historical denomination. During their stay at Tonzhaus, our guests are in close contact with nature. The rough beauty of the wild mountains, trees and meadows in Schnals extends in front of the windows. In the lovingly designed rooms and suite, you can smell the mountains and woods. The energy of the trees makes you feel calmer and helps to sleep well. The topic of nature in the mountains is present in the entire building, majorly also at the restaurant and in the spa area.

At Tonzhaus, we spoil you with herbs collected by our family, meat and with a series of other products coming from Schnalstal. The mountain breakfast with biological and natural products is perfect for a good start into the day. In the afternoon, we offer a buffet with homemade cakes, juices, biological teas and fruit. At dinner, our kitchen team prepares delicious menus of 5 courses, of exquisite products from the region. Alternatively, our guests can choose a pizza from our in-house pizzeria. At the Alpine Spa, body and soul will regain balance. Enjoy the dreamlike view in the heated Infinity mountain pool with Grander water as well as the soothing warmth in the saunas, steam bath and whirlpool. Moreover, we pamper our guests with holistic massages and pleasant treatments.

As a member of Wanderhotels group, we offer 3-4 guided hikes per week, wild animal hikes or herb hikes, rucksacks and hiking sticks for rental, maps, current tips and much more. Skiers will look forwards to a long winter season in Schnals glacier skiing area from autumn until spring. As well, cross-country skiers and ski tourers get their money's worth.
