Welcome to the Pension Christl in Kaltern!

Our pension Christl is located in a quiet position above the village centre of Kaltern. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view on the emerald green Lake Kaltern, lush vineyards and the Dolomites in the background. We offer our guests cosy single, double and family rooms, which are equipped with shower / WC, hairdryer, radio, satellite TV, telephone, safe, free Wi-Fi and balcony.

In addition to a well-kept garden with playground, you will also find a sun-heated panoramic swimming pool and a sunny terrace. At the Pension Christl, every day begins with a rich breakfast buffet. For a relaxing holiday, parking is also available directly at the house, and our guests enjoy free travel on regional public transport throughout South Tyrol with the South Tyrol Guest Pass.

Lake & mountains, wine culture & culinary delights

The Pension Christl is a good starting point for hiking tours, bike excursions and mountain bike tours in the environs. In summer, the Mediterranean temperatures invite to take bath in Lake Kaltern. In autumn, the wine-growing area Kaltern is completely under the sign of culinary enjoyment.

Once again, our autumn trip took us to beautiful South Tyrol. This was our third stay at this wonderful guesthouse. The owner herself was always cheerful and upbeat. The rooms were clean and in top condition. This certainly won't be our last visit. See you soon.

We slept very well at Pension Christl, located high up on the mountain, and were delighted by the friendly service, cleanliness, and quiet. The free parking was great, and the view from our balcony was so wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only during peak hours were there a few shortages at the breakfast buffet. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We would definitely come back and would happily recommend Pension Christl. The free tourist pass is a great bonus, and a ride on the Mendlbahn cable car is definitely recommended. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We were there 2 years ago. A very nice guesthouse. The rooms were nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly.

Extensive selection at the breakfast buffet. We also ate there in the evenings, and it was always excellent. We would definitely go back to Pension Christel.
