Garni Villa Tyrol

Non è stata ka mia prima esperienza a Villa Tyrol e certamente non sarà neppure l'ultima...bellissima struttura, comodità del parcheggio e la titolare, la Sig.ra Marion, sempre cortese.

Perfekte ruhige Lage in Meran mit sehr gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Familiär mit nettem Aussenpool und freundlicher Gastgeberin.

Super Gastfreundlichkeit und Hotel Führerin

Sehr gute Lage, ruhig und doch in Stadtnähe gelegen. Schön eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Guten Frühstück.

Service, location, and well-maintained facilities

I'm giving this 5 stars exclusively because the agreement was honored: the early check-in, agreed upon by phone in November and reiterated by email the day before at the hotel's request, was indeed granted. I had requested early check-in because I had a reservation at the Merano Thermal Baths from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a commitment I had communicated from the first contact. For this very reason, I was assured there would be no problems. The reminder email never received a response, and numerous phone calls were unsuccessful. When I arrived, I found the hotel closed, and only after several calls did I receive a response. I should point out that I wasn't asking for a favor, but rather showing up based on a previously agreed-upon agreement. Instead, my welcome was characterized by verbally aggressive and inappropriate behavior. I didn't say a word or respond to the verbal abuse I received: I tried to remain polite, even going so far as to apologize, even though, in a cool head, there was no reason to do so, simply to allow the check-in to proceed smoothly and not further disrupt the day. I therefore reiterate the reasoning behind my rating: 5 stars for formally respecting the agreement. 1 star for communication, availability, and guest relations. I'll conclude on a personal note: the owner seemed tired and exhausted. I understand this, because I also work with the public and know how tiring it can be. Precisely for this reason, however, I believe that situations like this should prompt serious reflection on the sustainability of continuing to operate in the hospitality industry, where respect for guests can never be lacking, even in moments of greatest stress. For the sake of completeness, I should point out that the room was overall adequate for the price paid. The only negative note concerns the linens: there were yellow stains on the sheets that didn't give the impression of thorough cleaning.
