A dignified, slightly aged house that is a must-see for anyone who loves original Art Nouveau. Unique, without artificial nostalgia or kitsch, but a house to fall in love with. The rooms are very clean, and the bathroom meets modern standards. A good breakfast is served, and the tables are set with great care, including (where else do you find this except in fine dining?) pristine white linen napkins. If you're bothered by peeling paint on the windows, this isn't the place for you. However, given the excellent value for money and the perfect location, this is easily overlooked. I found the charging station at the hotel very convenient. And I mustn't forget to mention the hotel's kind soul, Mr. Micro. Always ready to listen and always with a solution. I felt very comfortable during my two-week stay and would gladly return.

Belle Epoque-style hotel in a villa built in 1896 on the beautiful and tranquil Passer River with a lovely garden 10-minute walk from Merano train station

The 19th-century Art Nouveau villa is beautiful. The hospitality, cleanliness, and breakfast are excellent. The furnishings are dated but original! A lovely garden on the banks of the river, from which you can reach the center in 10 minutes.

A beautiful old hotel, it feels like a journey back in time. Everything is spotlessly clean. A very nice breakfast room with a large selection at the breakfast buffet. The location right in the center of Merano is fantastic. Unfortunately, we didn't have dinner there, but the menu sounded very tempting. I can't understand why some people want to 'renovate away' this old-fashioned charm.

The house is about 130 years old – the atmosphere is unique! The breakfast room is very beautiful, and having breakfast in the garden was a wonderful experience. The location is very central. We had very interesting conversations with the man at the reception.
