Rastlhof

I'm giving it 3 stars because, despite what I'll write later, the view and the surroundings in general seem to have come straight out of an episode of Heidi. You look out onto the balcony and are truly enchanted. An ideal place to travel with your dog, thanks also to the perfect path for walking. As for the rest... the bathroom has no window, no bidet, and the fan doesn't work. The shower requires a very long wait and then, at a certain point, it goes back to its original condition... I'm not sure if it was a pressure issue related to whoever was using the water at the time or if there was some sort of motorized pump. However, when you could take a shower, let's say it was fine. The room had a leaky radiator. The breakfast should have been "exceptional," but it didn't even include a fresh cake, a real juice, a croissant, or anything else you'd expect from a normal breakfast—far from exceptional. There wasn't even an option to drink a regular espresso (when today, even the small machines are throwing them at you). Add to that the payment without a receipt and the not-so-low prices... and here's the three stars, to be truly generous. Overall, though, I repeat: the landscapes are truly fabulous, and the shower, if you know how to use it, works. If you're Italian, and especially if you're from central or southern Italy, make sure you can have breakfast on your own, perhaps sitting at the table on the balcony, bringing everything you need with you. Otherwise, if things don't change, you'll be very disappointed. Oh... the customs of this area don't allow for the use of sheets, so you'll have to organize that as well. ;)

Everything is very rustic and simple. For breakfast, they only serve what you order, which I really like. The hostess is very nice and also has recommendations for things to do. As well as sightseeing. The rooms are relatively clean, although I would have appreciated a refrigerator. Without a car, I can't get anywhere here, but that's the case everywhere in South Tyrol. At most, you could reach the next town on foot. If you can hike, you're definitely at an advantage. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful farm with a very friendly family.

Very nice place to stay. We only stayed two nights, but it was worth it. Very nice hostess, fresh breakfast with local cheeses, bacon and jam. ️

We spent a wonderful week here at the Rastlhof. Wonderful views of the mountains, valley, and meadows from the apartment's many windows were very pleasant. :) Very accommodating, helpful, and kind hosts! We felt more than comfortable here, thank you for the lovely stay! We didn't have a car and only used buses, which was a bit strenuous for some of the more distant hikes, but overall, the connections were well-connected.

Very nice place in the open countryside with a great view, good breakfast, and a room with a balcony and large bathroom. The owner is very kind. I brought my dog, who was able to have breakfast with us.

Beautiful and quiet accommodation, despite being right on the road. A good and hearty breakfast. Beautiful rooms with plenty of space and a balcony from which you can enjoy the fantastic view. Restaurants, a shop, and plenty of options for activities in the region. You can rent bikes at the Schlaneider Hof, about 500 meters away. The owner was on hand the whole time with great tips for things to do. Thank you for the wonderful week.

Beautifully located, good rooms, clean and quiet. Packed lunches can be made upon request. There are no coffee or tea facilities after breakfast. However, you can have a thermos filled. Dinner is served elsewhere.

A family-run farm in a beautiful, quiet location, despite being on the road. We brought our dog. There's no bowl or bed provided, but you can get started right away. A good, hearty breakfast was very nice.
