If you are looking for a special accommodation for an unforgettable holiday in South Tyrol, our family-run Bed and Breakfast Oberangerhof is the right place for you. Our house is located in the middle of fruit orchards on a hill in Algund and offers a wonderful panoramic view. Of course, our house is an ideal starting point for all kinds of hiking tours.

Cosy rooms, garden and pool

We attach great importance to our guest’s well-being. Therefore we offer spacious rooms with a comfortable living space, bathroom with shower and WC, satellite TV with radio and balcony. In the morning you will enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with typical local products. Then you can spend an eventful day in the mountains and valleys of surroundings. The large lawn with pool in front of our house is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing.

Endless activities and fun

Our house is the ideal starting point for a variety of outdoor activities, such as walking, hiking, mountain biking and adventure sports. The area offers hiking trails, historical walks and scenic routes, as well as high mountain routes. Cycling enthusiasts can explore the Via Claudia Augusta or the Adige cycling path, while adrenaline junkies can enjoy activities such as rafting, paragliding, climbing and much more. In addition, you can relax at Merano's thermal baths or take part in guided hikes to discover local traditions.

Quiet hilltop location, surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards. A well-maintained house with a beautiful Mediterranean garden and pool. We had a large attic room with a balcony, and the small bathroom was perfect. We were thrilled by the magnificent view of Algund and Merano. A generous breakfast. Covered parking. The hostess was very attentive and friendly. We felt completely at home.

An excellent location for a vacation in the Venosta Valley: very close to the Merano-Resia cycle path (85 km, which can be done in stages or returned by train or shuttle bus, which also transports bikes), just 5 km from the center of Merano, accessible by bike if desired. It's nestled among apple orchards, nestled in the foothills of the Tessa Group, near the historic single-seater chairlift that, along with the basket lift, takes you to the Leiter Hut, before continuing along trail 24 (the Merano High Mountain Trail). The Gamper family is extremely hospitable and friendly. The property boasts a large, well-kept garden with lawns furnished with tables, loungers, and benches, as well as play areas. Above all, a swimming pool surrounded by greenery is a wonderful welcome after a day of cycling or hiking. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, and home-grown fruit. There's a garage for bikes and secure parking for cars. Excellent! For meals, the Forst restaurants within 5 minutes can be an excellent solution.

A beautifully situated guesthouse nestled amidst vineyards and apple orchards. A lovely garden with a heated swimming pool. Very friendly service. Clean and spacious rooms with a stunning view of the Merano Valley from the sunny balcony.

A very generous breakfast with various types of bread, muesli, yogurt, etc. They also offer homemade apple juice.

In short: We were completely satisfied and highly recommend the Oberangerhof.
