Hotel & Appartements Traube*** in Brixen, is located in a sunny position, close to the gardens in historic city of Brixen, about 500 meters away from Cathedral Square. We offer a perfect combination of traditional hospitality and modern comfort. A peaceful and green oasis of well-being awaits you in the centre of the city: our idyllic garden with pool, sun loungers and sun terrace, which is open in the summer months, invites you to relax. In the conservatory, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a view of the garden. 

A selection of rooms, apartments & cuisine

Our cosy rooms are stylishly furnished. Most of them face south and south-west and offer wonderful views of the gardens and mountains. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a modern bathroom. The rooms in our dependance have a balcony or terrace. Furthermore, just 60 metres from the hotel, we offer 9 apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. On request, half board can be booked in our Restaurant Traubenwirt, which is only a few minutes' walk away: There our guests also enjoy a 10% discount on à la carte dishes.

The room price includes the BrixenCard: With this guest pass, our guests have free travel on regional public transport throughout South Tyrol as well as free admission to the Brixen museums and to the pools of Aquarena and other benefits. There is a bus stop just 150 metres from Hotel Traube: from there, it's a 15-minute ride to the Plose cable car, which takes you to the Plose hiking area free of charge during the summer. Bike tours & Törggele hikes, skiing & Christmas market: Brixen and the Eisack Valley offer a variety of experiences at any time of year.

We stayed in the apartments not far from the hotel where you have to check in/out or have breakfast. If you go to the Traubernwirt restaurant, you get a 10% discount. Back to the apartment. Ours was very large (they upgraded us for free). Spacious, bright, and, I repeat, very large. There's an outdoor space to enjoy in the summer. The only drawback for us was that the TV wasn't in the bedroom, and the pillows were a bit too low. Otherwise, excellent value for money, central location. We'll definitely return.

I booked a balcony room and stayed there for three days. I felt peaceful and comfortable. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and look at the beautiful garden. The hotel provides free desserts and savory dishes from 3 to 5 pm every day. The bread and cakes are delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will choose to stay here again next time.

At the end of our South Tyrol vacation, we spent three wonderful days in Brixen and, on the recommendation of our friends, booked the Hotel Traube. We were not disappointed; the location couldn't have been better. We received a very friendly welcome and were given advice on sightseeing. The service was excellent, and all the staff are guest-focused. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. And the hotel garden is a little paradise; there's even a heated pool. We say thank you and are already looking forward to next year; we will definitely be back. We give it 5 stars and highly recommend it.

We stayed in the appartement. We had a real good experience. Specially the hospitality and kindness of the personal was worth the rating. The breakfast is real recommendation to add to your stay! We would definitely come back.
