The ICARO Hotel****, which has been existing since 1936, presents itself in a new guise since the renovation in 2021. Contemporary architecture and imperishable natural beauty, exciting art and culinary pleasures, soothing wellness and unostentatious hospitality enter a perfect symbiosis here on Seiser Alm. Our boutique hotel is located in a secluded location at 1,910 m above sea level and is a real place of well-being. Much wood and other natural materials created a wonderful refuge, colours and modern art provide exciting accents. The 29 rooms and suites, the restaurant with terrace and the pool – all areas guarantee breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.

Wellness & culinary delights

At ICARO Hotel, there are many places for relaxation and tranquillity, as well as for exchange and inspiration. Our wellness oasis with indoor and outdoor panoramic pool, Finnish sauna in the garden, bio sauna, steam bath, Kneipp station, mountain hay relaxation room and more invites you to relax. Maybe you will book a massage in the spa in between, browse for reading material in our library or take part in an art tour with Hubert Kostner? And of course, we will also spoil you with culinary delights, at breakfast, at lunch à la carte and at the evening menu. Highlights for gourmets are the Sunday apéritif and the six-course gala dinner.

Nature enjoyment on Seiser Alm

The mountain world surrounding ICARO Hotel, with wide Alpine meadows and such imposing peaks of the Dolomites as Mt. Schlern or Langkofel, is a paradise for active guests and nature lovers at all seasons. In summer, you are offered varied hiking, bike and climbing tours, in winter ski runs, cross-country ski runs and snowshoe hikes. The top station of Seiser Alm cable car is located 3 km only from the hotel. Our hotel offers a bike and ski room as well as a garage. E-mountain bikes and an e-car charging station are available for a fee.

I was so lucky with my choice of the Icaro Hotel. The location was perfect, and the view of the Alpediciusi during our morning walk was unforgettable and a wonderful experience for my wife and me. The staff were all friendly and attentive and always had time to ask if our guests needed anything. If I spoke German well, we could have chatted a lot, but I'm grateful they understood my broken English. I hope to come back soon when nature is in full bloom. Until then, stay healthy! ^^

We had a fantastic stay at Icaro. Everything about this place is simply magical and exceptional. The rooms are very tastefully done and very comfortable. our had a spectacular view to Alpe di Suisi. The staff are very attentive, accommodating and friendly, by far the best treatment in hospitality. And the food at the hotel is outstanding. The pool at the hotel has two parts, the indoor and outdoor with an amazing view to Seiser alm. Its spectacular especially for sunset. The options for the different saunas is amazing too. If you choose to stay here, trust me, you won't regret it and you wont be disappointed.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. In addition to its modern design, the hotel itself offers temporary art exhibitions that create a particularly contemporary feel, while also maintaining a strong sense of the traditions of the South Tyrolean mountains. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed; the owners and staff are warm and welcoming, yet pleasantly unassuming. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike with our guide, Alexander; authentic knowledge can only be gained from one person to another. The room service is perfect, and the evening menu is delicious and presented in an unparalleled manner.

Amazing Hotel in the most perfect location at Seiser Alm - Wonderful place for work and nature - Suggest to book “Halbpension”. I just wish your sauna and pool was open longer… We missed out on that one a bit due to its opening hours.

I had such a great stay here! All the staff were super nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I booked the half board package — both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Everything was perfect, and I’d definitely come back again!
