As the host family, we and our team pamper guests at the Hotel Kronhof***S with warm South Tyrolean hospitality and attentive service. The picturesque village of Stuls near Moos in Passeier lies in the middle of a fascinating mountain world at 1,315 metres above sea level. During your stay at the Hotel Kronhof you can expect comfortable double and single rooms, all equipped with shower, WC, balcony, telephone, flatscreen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and radio. On the other hand, you can also choose one of our five spacious apartments.

Indulgence & Wellness

Our half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu of your choice in the evening. The apartments can also be booked with breakfast or half board. For those who value rest and relaxation, the Hotel Kronhof has a wellness area with panoramic indoor pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, solarium and relaxation room. The sunbathing lawn and the panoramic terrace with a marvellous view also invite you to relax. In addition, there is a large lounge with games and books as well as a table tennis room.

As the Passeiertal Valley is part of the Texel Group Nature Park, a true natural paradise awaits you in the area surrounding the Hotel Kronhof. The impressive mountain peaks, the extensive Alpine pastures and the crystal-clear mountain lakes are best explored on foot or by bike. A special tip from us is the new via ferrata or an abseiling adventure at the waterfall of Stuls. For sporty discovery tours in winter, we lend snowshoes to our guests. We also offer a charging station for electric cars.

Excellent. Found it through Booking.com and Google. It's a great hotel. We stayed here for one night. We had a lovely room with a beautiful view. The room, including half board, cost €91 per person. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. A very friendly welcome. The food was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

Super friendly hosts, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The location and the view are outstanding. The exceptionally delicious food, served daily, rounds off the overall package. For motorcycling, the Timmelsjoch Pass is right on the doorstep, the entire area is ideal for hikers, and for city trips, Vipiteno, San Leonardo, Merano, and Bolzano are nearby.

A 3-star superior hotel that is finally a true 3-star superior, and not just on paper. Fantastic location in a quiet and peaceful area, as well as an excellent base for various excursions. Impeccably clean, both in the rooms and in the common areas. A lovely relaxation area with a good-sized pool, separate hot tub, and a more than adequate sauna. The food is average: the breakfast buffet and pre-dinner salad buffet are excellent. The cuisine is neither excellent nor unsavory. The entire staff is courteous. In my opinion, the strong point is the entire staff: from the room cleaning, which is always different and perfect, to the professional training of all the restaurant waitresses. Recommended!

What pleased us most was that we were personally welcomed by the owners. It felt like coming home. Overall, it's a truly outstanding hotel with great service and outstanding food. The coffee is also delicious. The rooms are beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The sauna isn't very big, but it's adequate. The indoor pool is heated and of a decent size. The outdoor area (terrace by the pool) is also very nice. The sun terrace in front of the hotel offers a wonderful view of the mountains. Parking is available. We would love to come back and thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

After passing through Austria, this hotel was way cheaper and still open, the hotel is not very clean, there is mold in the bathroom and broken hairdryer etc.

My conclusion in advance: Highly recommended without reservation. It's hard to believe that this hotel has "only" a 3*S rating. All measurable criteria are above average, yet the friendliness, service, and food deserve special mention. Even as a connoisseur of South Tyrolean hospitality, I was impressed by the authenticity. The farewell was also warm. You leave here with a touch of melancholy.

In a word: fantastic! This is a place like no other. We stayed here for 10 days, and we would happily stay another 10 days (or more). The rooms are superb. Spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The restaurant is fantastic. Every time, the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive. The view is incredible. Whether you're sitting on the terrace, the balcony, or in the dining room, you're always treated to stunning mountain vistas. This is a place we'll definitely return to!

We stayed at the Kronhof at the end of July. We highly recommend the hotel. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied. The dinner always deserves one, if not two, stars. But what we particularly liked and were impressed by was the friendly, almost familial manner of the host family and their staff.
