Hotel Laurin*** is situated in a very quiet and sunny panoramic location in Algund nearby Meran, on about 340 metres above sea level. Surrounded by orchards and vineyards and with a wonderful view to the city Meran, the valleys Burggrafenamt and Etschtal and the impressive mountains of the Texel Group, it is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing holiday in the South Tyrolean nature. You can relax wonderfully with breakfast on the terrace, in the wellness area and on the large sunbathing lawn.

Our offers cosy rooms, which are equipped with balcony, shower/toilet, phone, radio, satellite TV, safe, desk and couch or armchair. We provide you also a snug bathrobe and towels for the sauna and our wellness area. Here you can enjoy the warmth of the Finnish sauna, the infrared cabin, the herbal steam bath and the panoramic indoor pool. Relaxation you will find in our Kneipp grotto or in the quiet room.

Directly from our house you can start many hikes or leisurely walks like the Waalweg of Algund, the high alpine route of Meran and the famous Tappeiner path. The village centre of Algund is only a few minutes away and the spa town Meran is easily reachable by bus. The surroundings of Hotel Laurin offer also countless possibilities for cyclists and mountain bikers.

We checked into this cozy hotel at relatively short notice in the evening and received a very warm and friendly welcome. Our room was on the top floor and, thanks to the sloping ceilings, was very cozy yet still quite spacious. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the lovely breakfast server was simply wonderful! Very child-friendly! We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much, and see you soon!

We stayed at the hotel for six days. The rooms were fantastic. The spa area with the swimming pool was also excellent. The cleaning staff and the breakfast team deserve high praise. Keep up the great work; you're always so nice and friendly. The manager always gives good tips and takes good care of the guests. The hotel's location is very nice. Regards, Rudy

Just returned home from a 5-day stay in Algund and at the Hotel Laurin. A simple, reasonably priced, but spotlessly clean hotel with a great spa and a lovely garden for relaxing. I'm only giving it 4 stars for the location because, at 83, I have some difficulty walking. It's ideal for e-biking on the surrounding cycle paths. The staff (including the owner) are very friendly and responsible for the cleanliness. There's a very good restaurant nearby, and the town center is just a few minutes away. Plus, there's a bus every 30 minutes. We were completely satisfied!
