All are equipped with air conditioning and balcony or terrace. Some suites are brand new, some have a whirlpool. Both new penthouse suites offer a whirlpool, air conditioning and a stylish well-being ambiance. Our kitchen team pampers you with delicious dishes from the South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine all day long. For our little guests, we provide special kids menus. After an exciting day in the South Tyrolean natural landscape you can relax in the wellness area, in the Mediterranean garden with palms and pool or in the sky spa with panoramic sauna. In addition to body and wellness treatments, DAS DORNER also offers various saunas, indoor and outdoor relax zones, an infinity relax pool on the rooftop terrace and an indoor pool with counter current system.

The surroundings of Hotel DAS DORNER offer many possibilities for leisure time activities in the nature in winter and summer. Here you can walk on leisurely paths like the popular “Waalwege”, make a bicycle tour through the blossoming fruit orchards, go skiing and do everything the heart desires. We spent a wonderful day at the hotel's day spa. The spa area with its infinity pool is stunningly beautiful, as are the stylish relaxation rooms. The entire hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the staff impresses with their friendliness and attentiveness. The two hosts are also extremely warm and accommodating. We felt completely at home and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. The location is also excellent – ​​the train station and shopping center are just a five-minute walk away.

At first glance, being South Tyrolean, I thought, "How come?" Near the Algocenter, along the road, there's a wellness center. And instead? Fantastic... 4 saunas if I'm not mistaken... From Turkish baths to steam baths, everything. I don't know how to swim, but my wife does, and she immediately dived into the infinity pool. Breathtaking views of Merano. And then the gourmet dinner? I don't want to give too many spoilers. Come and see for yourself, and give me a like if I was right. We'll be back. P.S. If you have the Gaudi Card, use it, but mention it when you book.

We had a wonderful vacation at Das Dorner! The room was wheelchair accessible, and there was a grab bar by the toilet. The food was excellent. We'd love to go back.

THAT'S WHY THE MAXIMUM STARS Actually, I don't need to write much, because the hotel is simply top-notch. We've stayed at the Dorner four times and will definitely come back. Very friendly reception. Great location. Parking garage with electric charging stations. Enclosed bike room. Strength and fitness room open since March. Heated rooftop pool, top sauna, very good service...

We last visited "Das Dorner" almost 10 years ago. It was great back then, and now they've added real highlights with the infinity pool on the roof and the additional sauna. It was simply fantastic! The price is high, and you have to be able to afford it—of course—but it's simply worth it! All the best for the future—may the family-run business stay together and continue to develop. Best wishes from the Richter family. PS: Don't miss the sauna session with Carolin! Truly an experience.
