The family-run Hotel Römerrast***S is surrounded by idyllic vineyards and lush forests in Kaltern. The silence of the place, the familiar atmosphere as well as the Mediterranean climate will make your holidays at the South Tyrolean wine route a very special experience. Our rooms and suites are furnished with much love for details. Available in various sizes, they each offer a bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer, a balcony with dreamlike view, free WLAN, satellite TV, phone, safe as well as a sitting area. The suites have a separate sleeping area.

Every day at Hotel Römerrast starts with a tasty and rich breakfast. In the evening, we serve exquisite dishes combining elements of the South Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine, which are always prepared of fresh and regional products. Of course, suitable wines recommended every day always accompany our delicacies. Moreover, our guests love our convivial barbecues in summer and the culinary evenings (until May and in September) taking place once a week. In autumn (from October), you can experience weekly "Törggele" evenings with typical South Tyrolean dishes and sweet chestnuts. 

The sunny panoramic terrace, the heated infinity outdoor pool with sunbathing lawn as well as our spa oasis with bio sauna, steam bath, solarium, infrared cabin, adventure showers and relaxation area are perfect for relaxing moments.
