The Hotel Montis is located right at the foot of the ski and hiking area of Mt. Kronplatz and offers varied holidays between sports, culinary pleasures and soothing relaxation. The family-run hotel in Reischach near Bruneck perfectly combines an elegant ambiance, 4-star comfort and a unique well-being atmosphere. Double room, family room or tower suite – we offer accommodation facilities with different sizes, that are all cosy and comfortable. Satellite TV with Sky1, WLAN, safe, minibar, telephone, cosmetics set, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers are available in all rooms. Most of the rooms have a balcony and even a tiled stove. The parking space in the garage is included in the room price.

You are a gourmet and would like to be especially spoilt from a culinary point of view? Then our hotel is the perfect one. Our chef Karl Oberlechner and his team create delicious specialities every day – from South Tyrolean dishes to Mediterranean delicacies and international creations. You will look forward to a ¾ gourmet board with rich breakfast buffet, afternoon buffet with sweet and salty snacks and with 5-course menu of your choice at dinner.

Outdoor activities, golf and relaxation

Our dreamlike mountain world and a varied offer of outdoor activities is waiting for our guests, including hiking, cycling and paragliding in summer, and skiing, cross-country skiing and ice skating in winter. With our hotel shuttle, you can easily reach the lift facilities, 300 m from our hotel. As well, the shuttle takes you to 9-hole golf course, 500 m from the hotel: There, our guests will get free and unlimited green fee. Moreover, we offer mountain bikes and city bikes for rental as well as a weekly activity programme. After this many activities outdoors, our SPA and wellness area is perfect for relaxing. In the sauna world, in the indoor pool and in the large garden with sunbathing lawn, you can recharge your batteries. Our Bella Vita beauty farm also offers beauty treatments and massages. Afterwards, you will feel again ready for new experiences and discover, for instance, the historical centre of Bruneck with shops, bars, museums and churches.

At the end of October, I spent a week at the Montis with a hiking friend – and we were absolutely delighted from the very beginning! From the warm welcome to the sensational breakfast and dinner buffets, to the sauna area (small but perfectly formed) and the hotel's daily activities, everything was perfect. I'd especially like to mention the guided hikes with Peter, who made them very entertaining and varied. We also enjoyed delicious meals at the mountain huts and learned a lot about South Tyrol's history and future. The hotel staff are knowledgeable about the area, helpful, and always very friendly and cheerful. I can't comment on the shower in the room, as I always showered and washed my hair in the sauna area downstairs. The shower gel used at the hotel is suitable for the entire body (including the face)! In short: It's the perfect place to relax and be pampered! I'd love to come back!

We are absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is very welcoming, and the food is simply excellent. Furthermore, the hotel is ideally located in South Tyrol for mountain hikes. We recommend this establishment.

We stayed at the hotel with friends for a week and felt at home from the start. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and far too plentiful. They even organized two dances for us – fantastic!

The hotel is conveniently located yet very quiet. The rooms are simple and functional. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Dinner is partly buffet-style and partly set menu-style, and very tasty. The wellness area is clean and attractive. It's a great place for a few days, but I wouldn't stay longer due to the rooms. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

I'm the tour guide for our VinoTours "Culinary Feast in South Tyrol" tour group. We stayed at the Hotel Montis for a week. We felt very welcome from the first to the last day; the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very extensive, and there's something for everyone. Whether it's fresh fruit, vegetables, muesli, fried scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, cake, prosecco...etc. For dinner, we were surprised every day with new culinary creations from the kitchen. The spa area with saunas, a warm pool, an outdoor pool filled with fresh spring water from the Plan de Corones, and a fitness room leave nothing to be desired. Two beautiful dance events were further highlights. Many thanks to the entire team! We'd love to come back!

A very nice hotel in a beautiful location. We stayed here as a tour group. The staff was very friendly. The hotel facilities were excellent. Neat and clean. A place to feel good and relax, as there is also a lovely indoor and outdoor wellness area. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, was very good. Plenty of variety and diversity. A vacation here is definitely worth it.
