Hotel Thalhof am See

This is my first time at the Hotel Talhof. As soon as we arrived by coach, the hotel employee jumped out to clear the reserved space and help park the trailer. They did a great job. The dinner was delicious, and the service staff and the kitchen staff did a top-notch job. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, simply magnificent. Today I was able to enjoy an exceptionally relaxing massage with Theresa. She works calmly and with complete concentration, simply fantastic. (Dangerous). The housekeeping staff and reception are always friendly and highly motivated. Now I'm looking forward to two more days at the hotel before my trip continues.

The Thalhof: arrive and feel at home. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-soundproofed. A very friendly and attentive hotel team; everyone here does a great job. The day begins with a hearty breakfast (until 11 a.m.), and in the evening you are pampered with culinary delights. We stayed at the hotel for the fourth time in September and are already looking forward to our next stay at the Thalhof.

Within walking distance of the lake, absolutely fantastic service, and an 8-course dinner menu that is so incredibly good. The spa area is magnificent and incredibly beautiful. The rooms are beautifully furnished, very quiet, and super clean. In the evening, you can relax on the terrace and enjoy a cocktail.

This is our second stay and we'll definitely be back! Very well-insulated rooms; we had neighbors but couldn't hear them; a large balcony, excellent food, and a modern spa area; everything is very clean. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention! As a guest, you feel completely pampered; all your wishes are fulfilled immediately. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, or swimming; the bus is free.

WE'LL BE BACK. It was a wonderful 10 days without doing anything. A truly wonderful experience. Friendly, attentive service, very kind staff, and requests and suggestions were responded to quickly and courteously. You truly feel like a very welcome and valued guest here, whose wishes are happily fulfilled. Thank you for the wonderful days.

A little paradise on Lake Kaltern Our family stay at the Thalhof was absolutely dreamy – a place where we felt welcome from the very first moment. Culinary Delights Our day began with a wonderful breakfast outside in the fresh morning air – lovingly prepared, with fresh fruit and good coffee, which was brought directly to my table. In the evening, we were treated every day to a fantastic, multi-course menu – creative, seasonal, and simply delicious. Highlights for us were the dessert and fish and seafood buffet. Warm Hospitality The entire team is exceptionally friendly and attentive. You can feel that genuine hospitality is practiced here. We had the impression that the employees enjoy being part of the team and that the management takes good care of their crew. Rooms & Comfort The rooms are beautiful and very well-maintained. Bed linen is changed regularly, and the bathroom is thoroughly mopped daily – simply a place to feel good. Active & Relaxed The fitness room is equipped with great equipment, and the wellness area features a sauna, steam bath, and infrared cabin for soothing moments. The indoor and outdoor pools invite you to swim (not just splash around) and relax. Garden & Leisure The garden is a small recreational paradise: a table tennis table, a large chess board, and a trampoline provide plenty of variety. We even brought a badminton and beach ball set and games with us. There are plenty of loungers and parasols, and wonderful shade from the trees. Extra Plus Particularly practical: free access to the lake and free use of public transport – perfect for exploring the surrounding area stress-free. We will cherish this vacation and will definitely return.

A truly lovely hotel in a prime location on Lake Kaltern. Very good service. The sofa bed for the kids wasn't ideal, but otherwise, there was really nothing to complain about.
