Hotel Rogen is, in our opinion, the most beautiful and welcoming hotel! From the warm welcome by Monika or Julia to the culinary delights prepared by Lisa and Jasmin and their team, to wonderful hikes like the Chestnut Trail with Chef Ewald. Every week, guests can expect a varied program, which is always presented during aperitifs. After an introduction to the facilities, you can head to your room. The different room categories offer beautiful, cozy rooms with plenty of South Tyrolean wood. There are also special rooms with a separate children's area—for us, the best thing ever. Dogs are welcome, too... but we don't have one! You can park your car for free in front of the hotel or for a fee in the garage. The large indoor and outdoor pool with a swim-through is also a real highlight. The water is always pleasantly warm...they don't skimp on it here like so many other hotels ️ Besides the saunas and steam rooms, the frequent infusions by Reinhold, Oli, and Erich are a real treat in the late afternoon. From relaxing to really hot, there's something for everyone Eva and Helga pamper guests with lots of love and a wide variety of treatments in the spa. The back massage is our favorite. The food has everything you could wish for...from the sensational breakfast buffet with the best egg dishes from senior chef Helena...a wide selection of cold cuts and cheeses, and wonderful homemade breads. In the afternoon, there's a selection of cakes in the Wildererstube (Poacher's Lounge). Homemade by Grandma and Nicoletta In the evening, guests can enjoy a wonderful menu served at their table, or occasionally as a buffet on special occasions, such as the dessert or cheese buffet. Sometimes, dinner is accompanied by music from Paul in the village playing the accordion, or by a singer from the surrounding area—truly wonderful! The service from the guys from India is superb—very attentive and courteous. And of course, we mustn't forget Maridl and Aisha—top-notch! After a delicious evening meal, the hotel bar awaits with tasty cocktails like Lisa's creation or the hotel's own schnapps (we especially love the Swiss pine schnapps) to round off the day. Those who want to work out after hiking can do so in the hotel's fitness room, which features a treadmill, weights, and various other exercise equipment. A play area for different age groups is available for children in the basement. For kids, there's a play area in the basement. If you're looking for a truly relaxing getaway with plenty of activities nearby, yet still want to be close to Brixen, Bolzano, and other destinations, then the Rogens are the perfect choice. The excellent value for money is also worth mentioning. You guys are simply fantastic! See you soon ️ Pazi, Tobi, Luca, and Mia

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Highlights: - The location in the heart of the mountains. 40 minutes from Bolzano and about an hour from the Dolomites. Great for excursions. The stunning view every morning. - The breakfast and dinner were of very high quality. The food was delicious. The carrot and ginger soup actually tasted like ginger. Finally, someone dares to use good spices! - The sauna area. With drinks and small snacks like dried bananas. Panoramic sauna, herbal sauna with real herbs (I've never seen anything like it). Sauna infusions twice a day. A special thank you to the sauna master, Olli. The infusions were the absolute highlight of the vacation. Quality and enthusiasm. You rarely experience that with sauna infusions. - The dessert buffet on Saturday evening with so much choice. And everything tasted delicious. - The gala dinner on Sunday was absolutely superb. The highlight of the stay. - On my birthday, the table was decorated with a gift in the morning. Thank you again for that! Our room was in the annex, about 100 meters from the main building. It's more convenient (e.g., for the sauna) to stay in the main building. One minor point of criticism: on some days the evening portions could have been a bit larger. All in all: Absolutely fantastic. We'll be back.

All in all, a very relaxing stay in a pleasant atmosphere, very warm outdoor pool, lots of spa facilities on offer, remarkably friendly staff, very quiet house, I would gladly come again.

+ Hotel (except for the bathroom mentioned below) very clean! + Wellness area was always nice and empty, as most people were probably out and about during the day. + In the summer, a beautiful garden area for lounging outside by the pool (unfortunately, it was too chilly for us due to the colder weather in June, and the daybeds weren't really kept clean). + Breakfast was delicious and offered everything your heart could desire. + We could have used the wellness area before and after check-in. +/- Upon arrival, they asked if we had any allergies or dietary requirements, which I thought was good. They even left a note on the table at dinner. Unfortunately, one of the dishes still contained meat. It wasn't a big deal in this case and can happen, but it really shouldn't be if there's a real dietary or allergy issue. - We only showered in flip-flops because it was very dirty. The bathroom vent was also extremely dirty, with even a bit of mold on the wall above. - No air conditioning in the rooms, very hot at night, even with only 15 degrees Celsius during the day - Whirlpool was off - The cake buffet at lunchtime was no longer good! Of some flavors, only a single piece (which, in my opinion, suggests leftovers) was served with other cakes. I started feeling strange shortly afterward, and a few hours later, I got food poisoning! - The fitness room was okay for cardio, but not really suitable for weight training (only dumbbells up to 10 kg + a cable machine with hardly any handles). Disappointing as an athlete. - The organization at the food counter was somewhat lacking. For example, plates aren't cleared at all in the morning. You can choose dinner at breakfast (always one or two dishes per course to choose from), and yet the staff member asks you what you actually chose for each course in the evening. Our ID cards from check-in were also simply placed in the middle of the table before breakfast, when we hadn't arrived yet. - Dinner was only served from 7-8 p.m. - The hotel's location is very nice for walking, but you absolutely need a car (or bus) as there is no supermarket or similar nearby. It's also very annoying that there isn't even water in the rooms or in the minibar. Overall, "okay," but rather disappointing for the price we paid. Especially something like the cake buffet simply shouldn't happen, as it completely ruined our lunch/evening.

A very beautiful, personally run hotel with many regular guests, where staff appreciation is a top priority. This is evident in the service and friendliness, from the reception to the waiters and chambermaids. The food is simply fantastic and delicious, with a new theme every evening. We had a fantastic room upgrade and were very happy about it. The wellness area is beautifully designed. It's just a shame (but it's not the hotel's fault...) that the pool is in the shade in the afternoon—which is usually when you return from your activities. This was a real shame in September. I opted for the fantastic roof terrace instead. The hotel is highly recommended. However, a car is essential as it's so high up on the mountain—but the view is breathtaking!
