Welcome to Park Hotel Villa Etschland**** in Plaus

Our Park Hotel Villa Etschland**** is located in a quiet and central position in the idyllic village Plaus near Meran – with direct access to the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path along Etsch river in Vinschgau. The family-run hotel was entirely refurbished and combines cosy comfort with modern elements and enjoyable pleasures. Our garden with sunbathing lawn and swimming pool is ideal for relaxing after a day spent outdoors. Indoor, we offer a spa oasis with Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and adventure shower for instance. Massages and solarium are available against payment. Moreover, there is a big parking area right next to the hotel.

Dream stay

Our rooms and suites offer a spacious bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer, as well as a double bed, desk, telephone, safe, free WLAN, flat screen satellite TV and panoramic balcony. The suites also have a fridge and a cosy sitting area/loggia and a sofa bed or second double bed. On request, some suites with kitchen living and electric stove, coffee machine and accessories can be booked too. Our gourmet half board includes a rich breakfast buffet in the morning and a menu of 4 or 5 courses of your choice with salad buffet at dinner. Be it traditional South Tyrolean delicacies or Mediterranean dishes – our kitchen team counts on regional and seasonal products. At our bar, you can end your day right in a familiar atmosphere.

For lovers of the active life

The Etschtal cycle path directly goes along our Park Hotel Villa Etschland and active guests are offered numerous hiking and cycle paths in the environs too. We will also be pleased to recommend you our favourite tours. You can as well choose to leave your car in the garage: The train station and bus stop can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. A city tour through Meran is recommended at any season.

Another unforgettable stay – perfect location, excellent transport links, and a first-class dinner!!!

We've visited this hotel for the second time now and are absolutely thrilled again! From the very first moment, you feel at home. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the entire team is warm and professional – you immediately notice that hospitality is truly a top priority here.

The rooms are always clean, modern, and very comfortable. We particularly appreciate the thoughtful details that make the stay even more pleasant. The beds are heavenly, and you can relax wonderfully.

The hotel's location is also an absolute highlight. Public transport is just a few minutes' walk away (bus stop right in front of the hotel). Ideal for those seeking convenient access but still wanting to stay in a quiet and relaxing environment.

The breakfast is great, but the dinner truly deserves a special mention. The kitchen offers not only delicious regional specialties, but also creative and seasonal dishes that are simply delicious. The service in the restaurant is equally first-class – attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. The perfect end to a long day!

A huge thank you to the entire Villa Etschland team – you made our vacation unforgettable again! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a perfect getaway and an all-round enjoyable stay!

I received a warm welcome upon arrival at the Parkhotel Villa Etschland. The hosts, the Gurschler family and their team, are extremely friendly and always have a kind word for their guests. The rooms are comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel is very pleasant.
The excellent 4/5-course dinner deserves special mention – lovingly prepared and simply delicious! The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired and provides a perfect start to the day.
Thank you for the wonderful time and the warm hospitality – I would love to come back!

I stayed at Villa Etschland for 5 days on a half-board basis and was thrilled. The hotel is beautiful and well-appointed. We were given a room that guaranteed us absolute tranquility and privacy while still enjoying all the hotel's amenities. The room was beautiful and spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with every comfort. The balcony offers a breathtaking view. Breakfast was excellent, but the highlight was dinner. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, with a wide selection. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the apartment next to the hotel, which was extremely spacious and comfortable, with an assigned parking space. Two very spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub and shower, as well as a convenient toilet with a separate sink. As for the meals... I can only say they were excellent, truly excellent. The buffet was generous and varied, and the first and second courses were truly superb. We plan on returning soon. P.S. The welcome was excellent and courteous, as well as providing lots of advice on what to see and where to go. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time, and even extended our stay because it was worth it. The hotel is comfortable, very clean, the food is good, and the staff is wonderful. The only downside was a group of guests with very rude children, but that's beyond the hotel's control. I recommend prohibiting children under sixteen from using the hot tub in the winter, as we've met several guests who couldn't use it due to the rudeness of this group of children who were using it for diving.
