Roanerhof

In the north-east of Sand in Taufers from the valley floor rises the mighty Mt. Moosstock. On the southern slope sticks the little village of Ahornach, where you can find our guesthouse Residence Roanerhof surrounded by woods and meadows, far from the crowds. As well, we give high importance to a personal relationship with our guests and will be pleased to consider all of your wishes and needs. Our Roanerhof in Ahornach is a real South Tyrolean mountain farm. Whether in our cosy and comfortable rooms or in our apartment for 2-4 persons, you will enjoy a wonderful view to the Dolomites. The apartments are composed of one or two bedrooms with fully equipped kitchenette, TV, phone and free WLAN. You will have the choice between half board and bed and breakfast.

In the morning, you will be spoilt by our rich breakfast buffet. At dinner, we serve 5-course menus with traditional South Tyrolean dishes and Italian specialities. In addition, we offer a salad buffet with vegetables and herbs. For the preparation of our dishes, we make use of our proper farm products, such as organic meat, bacon, eggs, homemade farmer’s bread, jams, juices and much more. On request, we realise vegetarian and gluten free dishes too. At lunch and in the afternoon, we serve a light meal as well as homemade cakes and ice cream cups in our mountain hut.

You will relax not only in nature surrounding our Roanerhof, but also in our small wellness oasis with whirlpool, solarium, Finnish sauna and steam bath. Ahornach is a good starting point for unforgettable excursions, hikes and mountain tours. In winter, you will look forward to several excellent skiing areas, toboggan runs, cross-country ski runs and winter hiking paths in the environs.
