Ski tour to Speikboden

Mount Speikboden is not only a rewarding skiing resort in Tauferer Ahrntal, but also a popular peak for skiing tours. The 2,517 m high peak is reachable from Weißenbach, passing untouched winter landscape.

Tour description

The skiing tour starts in Weißenbach in Tauferer Ahrntal. Park your car near the tobogganing slopes. Take the slope and follow it for 20 minutes. Arrived at a fork, turn left. You will pass a brook and after totally 2 hours you reach the mountain pasture Mitterberger Alm.

Follow the ascent traces to Mühlbacher Jöchl Pass. Turn to the left here and follow the western ridge to the Mt. Seewassernock and finally to the peak of Mt. Speikboden. The descent is the same as the ascent.
