Hiking tour Comici hut

A particularly recommendable hike in the Gröden Dolomites is the one from Wolkenstein to the Comici Hut.

The tour leads hikers through the almost unspoilt Ampeza Valley along the Mt. Langkofeland up to the famous Comici Hut.

Comic hut

The hike starts at the cultural centre in Wolkenstein. From there, a path runs parallel to the road to the district of Wolkenstein. Hikers walk along the Wolkenstein road to the "Comicihütte" signpost. Here you walk through a wide meadow hollow (Saslong) and then follow the path marked no. 23. Following the markings, hikers soon reach the banks of the Ampezan stream, where they take the fairly steep path no. 528 to the Plan Saslonch crossroads.

From here, continue in a south-easterly direction to the Comici hut (on trail no. 526 and 528). After a rest at the Comicihütte, we recommend the following return route. Take a goods road to Plan de Gralba and continue to Wolkenstein (trail no. 21).
