Tour of the Alps

Our editorial team always tries to provide detailed and accurate information, but it is possible that events undergo changes that we are unable to update in real time. Exact details on dates, times and programmes can be obtained directly from the organiser.
From 17 to 21 April 2023, professional cyclists from international top teams will compete in the heart of the Alps – at the challenging Tour of the Alps.

The cross-border cycling race leads in 5 stages through the mountain world of the region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino and is considered the perfect preparation for the Giro d’Italia. The race is part of the UCI Pro Series.

The route changes from year to year, but there are always spectacular mountain stages and passes. The Tour of the Alps 2022 starts in Rattenberg in Tirol and ends in Bruneck. The 2nd stage on 18 April leads from North Tyrol to South Tyrol and ends on Ritten. The 3rd stage will then start again on the Ritten with the stage finish in Brentonico San Valentino in Trentino. After a 4th stage on Trentino territory, the Tour of the Alps 2023 will end with the 5th stage from Cavalese to Bruneck.

Picturesque villages and magnificent Alpine panoramas await cycling pros and spectators at this sporting event.
