Exhibition "Owls - nocturnal hunters"

When:
Where: National park house naturatrafoi, Sulden-Stilfs
Region: Vinschgau

The Stelvio National Park hosts the show " Owls - hunters of the night”. The exhibition is certainly not the ideal for the more superstitious believe that owls are animals that bring bad luck!

Owls live at night, perhaps because of it have always aroused a bit 'of distrust and fear in people. These animals are able to move quietly in the dark, hunt, protect their children from potential predators and feed them, all thanks to a unique evolution of their sense organs.

It’s very easy for those who do not know them very well confuse owls, because at night you only see both eyes shining. The owls are generally smaller than the owls and have characteristic tufts on the tips of his ears.

Owls are carnivores and eat mainly small insects and mice, and are very useful these animals away from our homes. The exhibition, organized in Trafoi at the National Park Stilfser Joch, it is proposed just to let you know and appreciate these beautiful and mysterious animals.
