Schenna: on the bike between alpine pastures and ancient farms.

A unique cultural landscape spreads out around Schenna, characterised by the high alpine landscapes of the Texel Group and the vast orchards around Meran. The best way to explore the area is by bike.

Oberkrin and Prenn in Obertall

The tour starts in Schenna. First take the road to Schennaberg to Gasthof Hasenegg and on to Hoferhof. There, mountain bikers take the forest path after the first bend and pedal to the Streitweideralm.
Shortly before the alpine pasture, cyclists cross the Röthbach stream and, after a short climb, reach the mountain hamlet of Videgg and then Oberkrin and Prenn in Obertall. From here, the route continues to Saltaus and along trail no. 20 to Untertall and back to Verdins near Schenna.
