Downhill from the Similaun hut to Vernagt in the Vinschgau Valley.
Schnals and the Schnalstal Glacier of the same name are rewarding areas for active holidaymakers in both summer and winter. Hikers and winter sports enthusiasts in particular feel at home here.

The downhill trail starts at the Similaun hut and leads down to the Vernagt reservoir. The second part of the Vent-Similaunhütte alpine cross is from the hut (you reach it on foot: the bike has to be carried and can also be ridden in places) down into the Schnalstal valley.
