The picturesque market town Neumarkt at the foot of the Castelfeder hill has its own special flair and is one of the most beautiful places in Italy. Besides Albrecht Dürer, also the freedom fighter Andreas Hofer also visited the wine village. He apparently spent a night in a cellar in Neumarkt on his way to Mantua.
