Mountain Residence Alpenhof

An apartment with all the amenities. Comfortable beds and a balcony with a wonderful view. We were able to order fresh bread every morning and use the sauna.

Steep access road with lots of curves – perfect for motorcycle tours, though less so for my wife The hosts were incredibly friendly, the rooms were very clean and well-maintained, the view was fantastic, and the pillows were the best I've ever slept on in a hotel! We were the only guests having breakfast, but there was still a good selection with scrambled eggs and other options. My wife and I will definitely be back!

This time we were traveling in South Tyrol with our nieces, and it quickly became clear to us: we wanted to return to the Mountain Residence Alpenhof in Afers. We've been here several times now – and certainly not without reason. Every time, we look forward to coming back and by now almost feel at home. The drive to Afers is an integral part of our holiday. Anyone who loves winding mountain roads and serpentine roads will have a blast on the drive itself. The higher you climb, the more beautiful the scenery becomes – and once you arrive at the Alpenhof, you're rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites. No matter how many times we've been here, we simply can't get enough of this panorama. Afers itself is a small and pleasantly quiet mountain village above Brixen. Surrounded by meadows, forests, and mountains, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the South Tyrolean mountain landscape. We particularly love this combination of tranquility and a great location. Another reason why we love coming back here is its proximity to the Plose mountain lifts. From the Alpenhof, you can quickly reach various starting points. Going uphill, you can take the Pfannspitze gondola and the Palmschoss chairlift. Heading downhill in the other direction towards St. Andrä, you'll find the Plose gondola. This gives you several options and allows you to spontaneously decide where to begin your day in the mountains. As with our previous stays, the rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and spacious. This time, too, with our nieces, we had plenty of room and felt completely at ease. For us, the Mountain Residence Alpenhof has simply become a place we love to return to. The tranquility, the location, the mountain scenery, and above all, the breathtaking view of the Dolomites make every stay special. And after several visits, we can definitely say one thing: We'll be back! ️

We had a wonderful week. The place looked exactly like the photos: spacious, spotlessly clean, and furnished with great care. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. Plus, the location made it easy for us to get around. We’d definitely love to come back!

Beautifully located, very good breakfast, very nice atmosphere

The apartment was fully equipped, extremely clean, all was new. Comfortable beds, silent sleep. The owner was available for all we needed. The location of the apartment was fantastic, and also the views from the balcony.

Small hotel, with a nice atmosphere, in the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Can be used as a base for exploring the Dolomites region.

We like it all from first day to our last. We took unforgettable memories with us. The personel were kind and helpful. Sauna help us rest a bit between hikes. Cleanliness of the place is amazing.

This is our second time staying here, and certainly not our last. Super apartments, super quiet location, and a great view. The staff (the owner and her father) are very friendly and always up for a chat.

We spent a few days at the Alpenhotel (May 28th - June 1st) and loved everything. The people were simply wonderful. And the view is breathtaking. I'll definitely come back for skiing. The Konopacki Family
