One various Thursdays from January to April 2018, winter sports lovers are looking forward to a unique taste experience in Obereggen.

At the new architectural highlight of Oberstolz mountain hut, at the Oberstolz bottom station on 2100 meters, you can taste first-class Eggental cheese from Becherhof farm on various Thursday afternoons from 2 pm.

After skiing on the dreamlike slopes of Obereggen skiing area, there is nothing more beautiful than having a little snack based on cheese, accompanied by the best South Tyrolean wines, which are served by expert sommeliers in accordance to the cheese varieties.

At the end of the tasting of refined cheese specialities and excellent wines, you ride back to valley on skis and enjoy the sunset and the picturesque alpenglow, drenching the surrounding Dolomites peaks strikingly in coloured light.

Information & prices:

The participation fee is 15 € per person. Booking is obligatory before 5 pm on the previous day at the local tourist offices or at the Obereggen lift pass office. The package includes the tasting of local cheeses, accompanied by suitable wines at the Oberstolz hut. Lift pass not included.
