Music from Luttach: Bergfeuer
"Music knows no borders and is the only language that is understood all over the world" - this is how the founder of Bergfeuer, Joe Außerhofer, describes the fascination of music.
It also relaxes, gives strength, is balm for the soul and helps to forget everyday worries. As long as there are people, there will be music.
These principles, their passion for music and the authenticity of their songs have made the Bergfeuer group from Luttach in the Tauferer Ahrntal valley famous beyond the borders.
The musicians of Bergfeuer came together for the first time in 1996. Over the years, several band members have changed.
Bergfeuer plays folk hits from South Tyrol with various ethnic influences. This unique sound soon made the band famous beyond the country's borders. Bergfeuer even won 3rd place twice at the famous Grand Prix of Folk Music.
The band still plays numerous concerts today, releases CDs and is a guest on various folk television programmes.
