Welcome to Chalet Schmied in Terenten!

The Chalet Schmied is located in wonderful Pustertal Valley, in Terenten, at 1,200 m of altitude between Bruneck and Brixen. The area is characterised by many sunny hours; in fact, Terenten is also called sunny village. The magnificent panoramic position guarantees an unforgettable view of the surrounding natural landscape. The chalet has a quiet and yet central position, as restaurants, a supermarket and the bus stop can be reached on foot.

Wellness Area & Garden with BBQ

Our chalet welcomes you with a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Our 8 apartments and 6 rooms are cosy and lovingly furnished. The apartments have 5 categories, with a living space from 38 to 67 m². Each apartment has a kitchenette with electric devices and tableware. Some apartments free of barriers. WLAN is free in the whole building. Outdoors, you are offered a large garden with barbecue facilities. A storage room for hiking and ski boots as well as for bikes is available too. Also, our guests can make use of the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. In the morning, you will start the day with our breakfast buffet, enjoying homemade jams, juices, cakes and egg dishes. After your discovery tours in nature, there will be nothing better than relaxing in our wellness area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath and adventure showers, relax area with panoramic view and terrace.

Activities for everyone in every season

Terenten is an excellent starting point for countless activities in our holiday region. Our guests are offered easy and difficult hikes, bike tours, dreamlike ski runs at Mt. Kronplatz ski area and much more. Moreover, Terenten offers one of the best children’s playgrounds in Pustertal, mini golf and tennis courts.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Chalet Schmied. The apartment was modern and stylishly furnished, with everything you could need. A fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent, and the sauna area was a little wellness oasis. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Superb service. We felt very comfortable and welcome from the very first minute. We were able to completely relax and, in addition to countless leisure activities, simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Highly recommended. Our every need was met. An upscale chalet with excellent family management and a fantastic location.

An absolutely perfect stay in this chalet in Terento, in the heart of South Tyrol. The setting is magnificent, peaceful, and rejuvenating, ideal for disconnecting and fully enjoying nature. The pure mountain air is incredibly refreshing, and the surroundings are simply exceptional. The spa is a real bonus after a day of hiking: clean, relaxing, and perfectly maintained. The staff is very welcoming, warm, and always available with a smile. Between the tranquility of the location, the splendid scenery, and the soothing atmosphere, everything is in place for an unforgettable stay. We left feeling refreshed and with only one desire: to return!

We loved this place, especially for the courtesy and professionalism of Andre, the man who runs it. The small wellness center is beautiful, with a sauna, Turkish bath, and relaxation area. Impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room had a wonderful view. The breakfast was generous and fantastic, and the coffee shop was excellent. The location is perfect and strategic for exploring the area.

We stayed here for four days over Easter. The hosts were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The room and furnishings were simply fantastic – perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was great. All in all, a superb experience. Tip: You can rent bicycles directly at the house, and they are also excellent for exploring the area.

Amazing place to stay. Clean, beautiful inside, amazing views! Sauna, steam room and a gym make the place unbeatable! But what really made this place incredible was the lovely staff. It was an absolute lovely stay. Everyone was polite, professional and very very kind. All the facilities have nice 'hutte' vibe, SPA and Gym are very well organized: there is everything you may need to keep you in shape.

We spent 7 days, 7 nights, 7 wonders (oh no, that was a Wolfgang Petry song :D) - just kidding! We stayed at Chalet Schmied for a week as a small family, and it was wonderful. The apartment was very chic and furnished to a high standard, very clean, and we loved the charm and flair of the house. The hostess and her son were incredibly warm and friendly, and we felt very comfortable. It was a beautiful area—only the weather wasn't always great—but the hostess can't do anything about that ;-). Thank you so much and all the best, and who knows, maybe see you soon!
