Get enchanted by a world of sparkling lights, taste the typical Christmas delicacies and get to know original handicraft products.
From December 1st to 24th 2017, the village centre of St. Michael in Eppan in Southern South Tyrol becomes a sea of lights. At the village square, visitors walk along decorated market stalls, tasting specialities and enjoying the atmosphere.
Under the light of the lantern (4 m high) in the centre of St. Michael, with typical elements of the Überetsch architectural style, visitors are offered regional handicraft products, seducing delicacies and musical entertainment. The rich offer includes cheese, sausages, wines, distillates, honey products and pastries, as well as candles, wool products, jewellery, Christmas decoration, potteries, textiles, cribs and much more.
The Christmas lights event in Eppan is an ideal event for families, too. The varied programme always amazes children.
Opening hours 2017:
- Fridays and December 7th from 5 pm to 9 pm*
- Saturdays, Sundays and December 8th from 10 am to 9 pm*
- On December 24th from 10 am to 1 pm
*The stalls are open until 8 pm
