Best entertainment, good music and typical "Kirschta" dishes – and all this in front of the impressive mountains in early autumn: this is the village fair “Keila Kirschta” in Pichl/Gsies.
For the last weekend in September, you have to get your lederhosen and dirndl out again and go to Pichl/Gsies. The traditional feast starts on Saturday 23rd September 2017 at 3 pm, when the strong men of the village try to put up the so-called "Kirschtamichl" tree. In the evening, the band "Elchos" from Carinthia is on the stage in the heated marquee from 8.30 pm.
On Sunday 24th September, the feast goes on in the late morning with the morning pint accompanied by the group "Oalinga Dorfmusikanten". The highlight of the village fair is the popular parade starting at 1 pm with decorated cows and the bands from Oberrasen and Pichl. The group "Die Verspielten" concludes the feast on Sunday evening playing some dance music.
The voluntary fire brigade Pichl/Gsies looks forward to seeing you.
