The Residence Margreth in Marling is open all year round and is situated in a sunny location in Marling, just 4 km from Meran. Nestled in blossoming apple orchards and surrounded by picturesque vineyards, our accommodation offers the ideal place for peace and relaxation for guests aged 14 and over. Dogs are also welcome. At the same time, our house is the perfect starting point for varied hikes and bike tours in the environs of Meran, cultural excursions or a leisurely stroll through the historic centre of Meran.

Comfortable apartments with view

The cosy and fully equipped apartments at Residence Margret invite you to feel at home and to plan your holiday flexibly according to your individual preferences: Each holiday flat offers a balcony with a view of the fantastic mountain scenery. We offer a bread roll service on request. On our sunny sunbathing lawn you can enjoy the panoramic view of the Texel Group and, on request, a sparkling aperitif. In the house you will also find a self-service bar on a trust basis.

A wide range of possibilities

Marling is the perfect holiday destination for connoisseurs: from wine tasting at the winery to a guided tour of the distillery or a hike along the Waalweg trail, there are many wonderful experiences waiting for you. There is also a large selection of bike routes in the surrounding area, ranging from leisurely cycle paths to challenging mountain bike tours and golf courses. The spa town of Meran is within easy reach and is worth a visit at any time of year. The South Tyrol Guest Pass is included in the accommodation price for our guests and allows free travel on regional public transport throughout South Tyrol.

Second year staying at this property... the location is excellent, close to Merano and the highway, yet far from the chaos and noise... the apartment is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a peaceful vacation. Dogs are welcome. Personally, I can only add... with Johanna, you feel right at home... and then there's Goldi...

A stay with Johanna is pure relaxation. The rooms are incredibly spacious and very clean! Johanna is the soul of the house and embodies hospitality. It's always a pleasant stay for us, and it's great that our dog can always join us!

The residence is an absolute dream! Our hostess was the best we've ever had—warm, attentive, and simply perfect in every way. We were there with our Corgi, and it was more than just dog-friendly—it was a little paradise for all of us. She deserves far more than 5 stars! Many hosts could learn from her how to perfect hospitality. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful time. Everything was immaculate: cleanliness, value for money, friendliness—simply everything was perfect!

The residence is located in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by apple orchards. We had a wonderful time; the apartments are beautiful, well-maintained, functional, and fully equipped. We had the attic on the top floor with a magnificent view. Mrs. Johanna is very kind and always available. Her golden retriever is a wonderful and well-behaved dog. We hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay. Super hospitable, clean rooms, and a very quiet area with a beautiful view. Our dog was even allowed to borrow Goldie's toy, and he loved it too – we'd love to come back!

Arrive and feel good, Johanna and Goldie gave us a warm welcome. A beautiful apartment with 2 balconies, comfortably furnished and everything you need. If you forgot something, no problem, we received great help. The bus to Meran leaves almost in front of the door. Even though it is close to the main road we couldn't hear any noise. Although we also had the windows open at night. Johanna is very helpful when it comes to how do I get where. We would love to come back

We spent 16 days at Residence Margreth. This was our second stay, and we will definitely return. This time we had apartment number 1, which is simply beautiful. With two balconies facing different directions, the view of Merano from the balcony is breathtaking! The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a holiday, and if anything is missing, the hostess is always happy to help. The bathroom is lovely, and the bed is excellent – ​​and I'm quite critical about beds! There's parking in front of the building, and Marling is within walking distance. We walked to Merano several times from the apartment. The Marling Forest Trail is practically right outside the door. The value for money is excellent for this accommodation. And the best part is the incredibly friendly and helpful hostess! We extend our heartfelt thanks for another wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful winter stay at this wonderful residence. We received a warm welcome from Joanne, and the rooms were spotless, warm, and very welcoming and functional. The bus stop is right below the residence, making it very convenient for reaching other destinations. Highly recommended for those of us traveling with our dog. Ample parking is available within the residence.
