Highest Christmas market in Martell

The Christmas markets in South Tyrol are well-known throughout Europe. Guests and locals like the romantic atmosphere in medieval sceneries, the many stands with original gift ideas, the music and the fragrances in the air…

A very special attraction is waiting in Martell, where you’ll find the highest Christmas market in the Alps on the mountain pasture "Enzianam" at 2,061 m above sea level. This year it will be open from 6th to 9th December 2012. 

High above the valley, in the middle of the national park Stilfser Joch you can experience a very contemplative Advent far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The program offers horse-drawn carriages as well as handicraft courses, traditional music and local specialties. 

Opening hours of the Christmas market in Martell:

• 6th December: 4 to 8 pm
• 7th December: 12 am to 6 pm
• 8th and 9th December: 11 am to 6 pm
