Asparagus Weeks in Kastelbell
Springtime in South Tyrol is known for its wonderful apple blossom, but also for the fresh asparagus, which are cultivated not only in the south of the region, but also in Kastelbell in Vinschgau.
This green or white vegetable is very tasty and also healthy. During its harvest time from mid-April till late May it is a protagonist in restaurants, hotels and farms in and around Kastelbell.
In order to convince gourmets of the high quality and the great taste of the local asparagus, restaurants and inns in Kastelbell will spoil them with many delicate starters and main dishes with asparagus – this year from 13th April to 28th May 2017.
The asparagus will come exclusively from local asparagus farmers, which will gather them every day. Of course, for every dish there are available also suitable white wines.
