Unterkuechenmair

The roots of the Unterkuechenmair farm with its listed farmhouse go back to the 14th century: Surrounded by apple orchards and forests, the fruit farm is situated at an altitude of 586 m and offers 5 new and bright apartments in the converted barn. Breakfast is also available on request. Our holiday guests can enjoy the tranquillity and closeness to nature in the sun-drenched village of Albeins on the one hand, and quickly reach the Plose hiking and skiing area and the beautiful old town of Brixen on the other. With our photovoltaic system and wood chips, we are committed to sustainable energy production.

Our 5 holiday flats of different sizes are named after apple varieties: They are called Fuji, Kanzi, Golden, Gala and Elstar. All apartments are cosily furnished with lots of wood, have a balcony and are equipped with a modern eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and oven as well as a modern bathroom with shower and bidet. Of course, there is also satellite TV and WLAN in the apartments. One apartment is barrier-free. Our guests also have access to the sunbathing lawn in the garden and a table tennis table.

The beautiful nature invites you to discover it all year round: in spring biking with a view of blossoming apple trees, in summer a variety of hiking tours between alpine pastures and mountain peaks, in autumn cosy Törggelen in the Eisacktal valley and in winter skiing on the Plose. A trip to the beautiful town of Brixen is worthwhile at any time of year. Our guests receive the BrixenCard free of charge on arrival: this guest card grants free travel on all regional public transport throughout South Tyrol, free admission to over 80 museums, a free daily ascent and descent on the Plose cable cars, a free 3-hour ticket for the Acquarena pool area every day (except Sundays and public holidays) and other benefits.
