Haspingerhof

Farm stay in Gsies at Mt. Kronplatz / South Tyrol

Farm steeped in history in a quiet location, with farm animals and farm-grown products, a large flat with panoramic views and many opportunities for outdoor activities.

Welcome to the Haspingerhof in St. Magdalena in the Gsieser Valley!

At the Haspingerhof in St. Magdalena awaits you a holiday on a historic farm with a wonderful view of the Gsieser Valley. Here you can experience everyday farm life and gain insights into the history of the farm. The Haspingerhof was built in 1640 and is the birthplace of Father Joachim Haspinger, religious and Tyrolean patriot. He was also known as "Father Rotbart" and fought together with Andreas Hofer for the independence of Tyrol against the French. For over 200 years, the farm has been run by the Gietl family with great love for tradition and typical South Tyrolean hospitality.

Our guests stay in a comfortable flat with a fantastic view. The holiday home of the Haspingerhof is 70 m² large and offers with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony lots of space to relax and feel good for up to 6 people. Guests are provided with bed linen, kitchen utensils, towels, shower/bathtub, satellite TV, garden, barbecue, playground, parking space and WLAN.

Cows, goats, chickens, cats and a dog live on our farm. If you love nature and animals, you will feel right at home with us. Of course, your four-legged friends are welcomed too for a small additional fee. We are proud of the quality of our farm's own products and are happy if you would like to try our butter, milk and eggs.

The environs of the Haspingerhof offer many opportunities for active holidaymakers. A cycle path and many beautiful hiking trails lead right past the front door. A family-friendly ski area is only 500 metres away, and the Kronplatz and 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resorts are easily accessible by car. The most famous destinations in the region include the Lake Prags and the 3 Zinnen. The towns of Bruneck and Lienz delight not only shopping fans with their attractive historic centres, and Innichen is also a lively place with a long history and worth to visit.

The children Evelyn and Albin as well as the grandparents Magdalena and Josef are looking forward to your visit!
