The wines from the winery Manincor rank among the best wines of South Tyrol and also the wine-growing estate itself is one of the most beautiful and modern ones.
Manincor was built in 1609 in Kaltern in Southern South Tyrol and since 300 years the different owners produces high quality wine there.
Behind the Manincor wines this days stands one name: Earl Michael Graf Goess-Enzenberg. His family owns the wine-growing-estate since 1662. He and his wife Countess Sophie continue the ancient heritage: understanding tradition and zeitgeist and develop it.
Today the wine-growing-estate owns the most modern subterranean wine-cellar of the region. From the outside only timber and glass is visible, overgrown by many vines. In the inside some of the best wines of the country maturate. The top-wines of Manicor are: Réserve della Contessa and Cassiano 2004. The wines are characterized by mature and wood aroma.
This exceptional wine-growing-estate can be visited and also wine-tastings are possible. Guided tours and wine-tastings are doable by reservation.
