Pasta with asparagus and speck
Recipes and dishes can be better if you use genuine and seasonal products. We offer a recipe that has, as its main ingredients, two typical products of South Tyrol: asparagus and speck.
The recipe is very simple and lightweight but taste great!
Put in a frying pan a clove of garlic with a little of olive oil. As soon as garlic takes colour, add the speck cut into cubes. After a minute, add a little of white wine.
Apart, washed asparagus. You can use both white that green asparagus. The white asparagus will give to your pasta a more delicate taste, while green a more intense one.
Cut asparagus into pieces, taking only the tip, add asparagus with speck and let them cook. If you need, add to the sauce a little of white wine.
In a pot, boil water for cooking pasta. When the pasta is cooked drain it and added the sauce.
Ideal for the dish: a good white wine of South Tyrol as a Sauvignon or a Pinot Blanc.
