Rockarena – Indoor climbing in Meran

With a climbing area of about 730 m² and a boulder area of 270 m², the Rockarena on the north side of Meranarena ice stadium offers a lot of climbing fun and training possibilities also during the cold season.

With 100 climbing routes indoor and 50 climbing routes outdoor, the Rockarena in Meran offers a suitable route for everybody – be it foe beginners or for climbing pros. The equipment can be rented on site if needed and it is also possible to do a top rope belay check against payment.

Fun for kids & adults

Kids, adults and teenagers can also learn how to climb and improve their skills during different courses upon appointment. Rockarena Meran also offers afternoons for kids and special offers for children during the Christmas and summer holidays. A special experience for kids is a birthday party in the climbing hall.

Opening times

The Rockarena Meran is open all year round; however, there are reduced opening hours from April to August. Monday is reserved for courses. From September to March, the Rockarena is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am to 11 pm, on Fridays from 7 pm to 11 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and several holidays from 1 to 8 pm.

In addition to day tickets, you can also buy tickets for 10 times climbing, six-month and annual tickets. Discounts are offered, for instance, to families and AVS members.
