Getting married in winter
Imagine: Snowy landscapes and snow-covered rustic houses and chapels, horse-drawn sleighs, which brings you to the church and crackling fire during the wedding feast. How romantic this would be?
More and more lovers exchange their wedding vows in South Tyrol. Much recommendable for wedding in winter is the chapel of Heiligkreuz in Alta Badia. It was built in 15th century and is situated very picturesque above Pedratsches, a small and rural village. In the background is located the mighty mountain Heiligkreuzkofel, glowing red in the sunset. Impressing is also the church of the Saint Katharina in Corvara.
For the wedding celebrations, the ski huts and hotels with cosy dining rooms are just perfect. Bigger wedding parties prefer event locations with spacious dinign rooms.
