Cross country skiing in Rittner Horn area

The Ritten plateau is actually well known as summer-health-resort and not really as winter sports destination. But in fact Ritten is a rewarding territory for lovers of cross country skiing.

Pure cross country-ski pleasure promises the 35 km long high altitude cross-country run. Thanks to the unique panoramic view, the romantic wintrily landscape and the quietness around, the run is said to be one of the most beautiful in Europe.

All in all there are 47 km of runs on Ritten plateau. All runs are appropriate to skaters as well as to classic-skiers. Most of the runs are easy or medium difficult. There is no charge to pay.
