Cross country skiing in Ratschings-Jaufen ski region

Situated close to Sterzing cross country skiers find the wonderful Ridnaun Valley, which we add to the winter sports area Ratschings Jaufen. Because of its ideal snow conditions and the wide valley, Ridnaun is perfect for cross country skiing.

No wonder that cross country ski teams of all over the world train here for future cups! The absolute highlight is the 21 km long valley run, which is leading sportsmen directly to the biathlon centre of Maiern.

Other runs are: "Rundloipe Gasteig-Stange-Mareit"-run (12 km), "Rundloipe Durach in Mareit"-run (5 km), "Rundloipe Ridnaun-Gasse-Maiern" –run (25 km) and the run from Inner-Ratschings to Flading (10km).
