Cross country skiing in Gitschberg-Jochtal area

While skiers cavort on the sunny slopes in the Gitschberg Jochtal ski region, cross country skiers find more quiet places in the romantic valleys of the area.

As a worthwhile example we mention here the 12 km long run into the Altfaßtal valley. The run is easy and in some parts medium difficult and offers a low difference in altitude about 150 m.

Here cross country skiers find a lot of quietness and some lovely huts. Worth mentioning are also the runs on Rodeneck alpine pasture and Villanders alpine pasture.
